I apologize for disappearing without leaving a word. Months. Life has been a very sadistic lover of mine for a while - an Ann Angst Whore that she was. I found my way back. I tried to quit Mike and Chester, but they did not let me - those old bastards. No explanation and no promise - they will all turn into lies in the end. I will run this town as long as I can.

Since I have gone for months and the US tour will start in 3 days, I have very little time left to fill in the news I missed. Help me out by sending in news/ pictures or notice me if something is missing. Thank you.

Just came back to the Linkin Park fandom scene since the very start of August, Bennoda.com has received ultimate love and appreciation from all the awesometastic supporters out there. First and foremost, please let us say thank you for that.

Working as a small site feeding news on Linkin Park and focusing on the friendship and more <3 of Mister Shinoda and Mister Bennington, we decided not to put our tags on pictures and other media material in order to bring you the best tag-free source of news. However, this decision also decreased our chance of promoting the site to a larger audience.

With that saying, why don't YOU - the readers of Bennoda.com help us out by promoting our site to your friends and your own readers?

What you can do is easy peasy: put the banners beneath on your blog (LJ/wordpress/blogspot/LPU/LPN, etc), your signatures in forums you join, or link us on your twitter/facebook/myspace. In short: spread the world!

August 2nd, world premier of "The Catalyst", the first single off "A Thousand Suns" - the much awaited upcoming album of Linkin Park. Are you Linkin Park fan fellows as excited as I am right now? But there is another reason for us to feel the excitement pumped up: after five months on hiatus, Bennodaaa.blogspot.com - your source for all things Bennoda related is officially back - and now we are WWW.BENNODA.COM

What's there on the new Bennoda.com? No more lack of activeness on the front page, the real updates are back, hot and amusing, ready to serve any souls out there who are hungry for their daily Mike/Chester dose. We also have a lot of plans for the future, especially with the band coming back at their peak of energy and the fandom heating up every day. Stay tuned to get the hottest updates on news, photos and others of your favorite couple, watch out for the next best artwork made by the fans, for the fans and take part in other exciting projects like contests and interviews with the artists/writers.

Also, it's time to introduce to you a new staff of the site: PinkWater3, known as Jules the Golden Cupcake. Jules has been known as a very active member of the Mushroom Army MB for years, and we finally asked her to work with us on Bennoda because she has all the awesometastic power on the world. Three cheers for the new super girl on our team!

By the time you finish reading this rant, you must have noticed our beautiful new layout. You can check out the fresh layouts on our site, Message Board and give a big applause to the talented Jules, who worked very hard on them, along with the new one on Twitter, which is not as pretty since it was made by me, Ann. I hope the hot pink ain't making you feel too hot ;) My gratitude to Naz for her support with all the behind-the-scene work, and Nicole for being herself (wherever she is now). I love you guys <3

Two years: two years with its ups and downs and so many unforgettable moments. It's hard to imagine this is the way we will say goodbye. I have so much fun working on this site, building a home for Bennoda lovers and making friends all over the world. Like Chester said in one interview, Linkin Park will always be my girl, and Bennoda fans will always be my homies. I want to express my deep gratitude and love to you guys, but words are useless sometimes. So I will put it simple: thanks the writers, the artists, the news and pictures providers for everything you have contributed to our family. Thanks everyone who has spent even a small amount of time or their whole life for the love of Bennoda, thanks everyone who has voiced their passion for this couple, and everyone who still keeps silence yet support us all the way - we are a family - and thank you for that.

Last December, I turned 21 - all grown up and started aging eventually ;). This year, I am supposed to graduate from my university (but it turns out that I cannot, yet). I have been distracted from my studies for a while, and it's time I pay my attention back, finish this heartache of an educational task and be ready for a new life. I need some time to focus, and I don't want to put an half-hearted effort into something I love like Bennoda. After having discussions with my co-admin Nicole, I think it will be the best to put the site on hiatus.

Goodbye is not necessary farewell. I hope we can come back soon, maybe after this June, maybe when Linkin Park starts touring again. Meanwhile, we will still keep the Message Board open, so if there's something you want to share about Bennoda, feel free to come and rant.

We will see each other again. Thank you all, and best wishes!

Recently, there have been some complaints about this and that with the site management. There are something I need to make clear.

1. We introduce fanart artists on our site by posting LINKS to their deviantArt (mostly) accounts. We only archive fanarts when the fanart is posted on our Message Board or sent directly to us.

As you all know, we always respect the artists' wishes and give them full credit. If any artist doesn't want us to link them, we will gladly remove their works. However, since we have a lot to update in one post, and it's hard to ask permission to LINK everyone (Mike Shinoda never asked for such permission zOMG!blasphemy), if you don't want us to link you, just state in your artist's comment 'Don't link my artwork' or 'Ask me if you want to link my artwork', we will never break your rule. Remember, we do not archive your stuffs, we just link them here. So it's your choice to allow us to promote you or not.

2. The same thing with photographs. I have tried to ask permissions from as many people as I can, because we archive photos on our site, but some of them never reply or simply, they never read my mails/comments.

It is not hard for you to figure out that such work takes A LOT of time. So we post photos here with full credit given and no manipulation done or site watermark added to your stuffs. If any of you photographers out there are not happy with us putting your pictures here, just contact us, we will remove your work right away.

3. We (the Bennoda staff) do not have anything against the Linkin Park's ladies. We respect them for being with our boys all the time and being the secret force behind the Linkin Park power. There have been discussions on the Benningtons tweets, but the admins have tried to stop any hatred from seething out. You cannot bash the ladies here - it's a rule that we have made on the MB as well as the Cbox from early.We believe we did not cross any line.

I personally think Mrs. Bennington is a very beautiful and sexy lady, and from what we have heard, an amazing Mom (it's great that she's against Prop 8, haha). My only concern is about they exposing their kids and private life, but it's not and never my business so I'm not in the place to talk. Other than that, congratulations to them for maintaining such a big and happy family.

So. Girls and guys who are active on here, I know you all are curious and there's the freedom of speech, and we have been always very easy with all the members, but please refrain from talking about Linkin Park's private lives on our site and MB. We're here to celebrate the Bennoda love, not to discuss their private lives (They deserve some privacy! Unless they share with you that privacy themselves, don't dig it up). Other people who are not happy with the talks about the Benningtons, I hope you realize this is just a misunderstanding and keep on supporting the site (:

4. Don't ask me why I talk so much. I have a big mouth. The new layout is ready for days but Nicole has disappeared for several days (hope it's not the same alien that abducted Chester and hurt his ass ;)) so we will have to wait. But it's coming, LOL, and yes, I have seen it, so surely it's coming. Cheers, my mateys.

Happy Birthday to our site, Bennoda.co.nr is one year old!


I am surprised by how fast time went by and totally overwhelming by the fact that our baby is celebrating its very first birthday. One year ago, Nicole and I were taking our very first step on this journey together. This day last year, I was posting our first proper post. We told each other that we would not expect anything big, and the site is merely for fun. Till today, it still brings us so much joy, yet I'm happy to see everything is getting better and more serious. Our site is still a very small one, but we are embracing a big, loving community that we fondly call our FAMILY. That means so much to me - that is something big to me.

In this special moment Ann's going cheesy, someone throw a tomato at her plz!, I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you all - the Bennoda fans, for sticking with us, through the good and bad times. Thank you for your untiring support, your humorous comments, your concern for Mike and Chester as well as the band, and most of all, for sharing with us your dedication to Bennoda - nothing is more amazing than the fact that we are all here to share with each other such a beautiful thing.

Please keep in your mind that this site is yours - it belongs to every single one of you. It's for you that Bennoda is alive and stronger than ever. Let's toast to our beloved community and our favorite couples and don't forget to vote NO on Prop 8! I hope I didn't talk to much. Enjoy your stay, me hearties!
