I just got on mikeshinoda.com and maaan, a Mikenix war is going on! No, this has nothing to do with Bennoda, skip this post if you just give a s#$t about Bennoda. I saw some fan posted a war poll on the LPMB, where people choose to side Mike or Dave. You don't need to click the link the know the result (so, the rapper or that bassist dude?). Must be my hormones that makes me go all sensitive but don't you remember, bassists need love too, you know?

A quick review of last week's events and what to come this month.

The premiere of 'Transformers II: The Revenge Of The Fallen' was summed up in Michael's words: a pretty fun night. The boys look amazing. Kudos to anyone who dressed them this year. Mike's Jason Mraz/Justin Timberlake look is uber funneh fashionable and Chester still hasn't parted with his man purse yet. Our couple decided to wear ties together and stood out among their friends (even tho in the end, Brad won. Look at his face! He stole all the spotlight after his lovely bush was gone - I still miss it tho)

Chus rocked the white outfit and maybe it's my eyes, but during some fancam vids, it's like a GUNSHOW. Chester did get buffer, right? Robbie looked a little preggo but his shiny hair distracted me all the way. Mike was super excited during the electronic NIN-esque break. Seems like they were having fun singing live together again.

Less than a month and Linkin Park will be back on the road, pulling the best out of themselves performing for the fans. The next stop is Istanbul, Turkey! After all those concert moments we posted on the site today, are you ready to catch up with the new Bennoda tour circle yet? YOU'D BETTER BE READY BECAUSE WE'RE EXCITED!

Also, show your support to Dead By Sunrise, who's doing a lot of promoting jobs and will release their very much expected album this September.

June is the birthday month of Naz and Nicole, the awesome and amazing pieces of our A team. Happy belated birthday to you two. Keep on rocking and don't forget totally about our boiz!

On another note, I just read on CNN about Michael Jackson's decease. That was such a shocking news. Despite all the wrongs and rights he has done in the short time of his life, Michael Jackson is still an undeniable icon and legend in the world's music history. His death is a loss to many music fans out there. Rest in Peace, Michael.

Recently, there have been some complaints about this and that with the site management. There are something I need to make clear.

1. We introduce fanart artists on our site by posting LINKS to their deviantArt (mostly) accounts. We only archive fanarts when the fanart is posted on our Message Board or sent directly to us.

As you all know, we always respect the artists' wishes and give them full credit. If any artist doesn't want us to link them, we will gladly remove their works. However, since we have a lot to update in one post, and it's hard to ask permission to LINK everyone (Mike Shinoda never asked for such permission zOMG!blasphemy), if you don't want us to link you, just state in your artist's comment 'Don't link my artwork' or 'Ask me if you want to link my artwork', we will never break your rule. Remember, we do not archive your stuffs, we just link them here. So it's your choice to allow us to promote you or not.

2. The same thing with photographs. I have tried to ask permissions from as many people as I can, because we archive photos on our site, but some of them never reply or simply, they never read my mails/comments.

It is not hard for you to figure out that such work takes A LOT of time. So we post photos here with full credit given and no manipulation done or site watermark added to your stuffs. If any of you photographers out there are not happy with us putting your pictures here, just contact us, we will remove your work right away.

3. We (the Bennoda staff) do not have anything against the Linkin Park's ladies. We respect them for being with our boys all the time and being the secret force behind the Linkin Park power. There have been discussions on the Benningtons tweets, but the admins have tried to stop any hatred from seething out. You cannot bash the ladies here - it's a rule that we have made on the MB as well as the Cbox from early.We believe we did not cross any line.

I personally think Mrs. Bennington is a very beautiful and sexy lady, and from what we have heard, an amazing Mom (it's great that she's against Prop 8, haha). My only concern is about they exposing their kids and private life, but it's not and never my business so I'm not in the place to talk. Other than that, congratulations to them for maintaining such a big and happy family.

So. Girls and guys who are active on here, I know you all are curious and there's the freedom of speech, and we have been always very easy with all the members, but please refrain from talking about Linkin Park's private lives on our site and MB. We're here to celebrate the Bennoda love, not to discuss their private lives (They deserve some privacy! Unless they share with you that privacy themselves, don't dig it up). Other people who are not happy with the talks about the Benningtons, I hope you realize this is just a misunderstanding and keep on supporting the site (:

4. Don't ask me why I talk so much. I have a big mouth. The new layout is ready for days but Nicole has disappeared for several days (hope it's not the same alien that abducted Chester and hurt his ass ;)) so we will have to wait. But it's coming, LOL, and yes, I have seen it, so surely it's coming. Cheers, my mateys.

To every dedicated fan of Bennoda, this is my apology for not updating the site often lately. As you know, the Linkin Park world is moving slooowly, so we don't exactly have much things to update other than digging up old pictures and media. Nicole, Naz and I myself have been pretty much caught up with our lives. If it's not for some effort of our artists and everyone's untiring support, the site would have been dead for a while. I know some of you have turned impatient, or even felt bitter about us. I don't know if there's another reason behind this, but if your tantrum is purely thrown out of your love for Bennoda, then I can only say, thank you for sticking with us, with this fat old fandom and pairing (no weight pun intended, haha), and please be patient. We have tried our best. Please help us build up this site instead of demanding more and more nonstop. We will appreciate any kind of support from you guys.

Btw, this is way too late, but it's a must to check out Ellen's Commencement Speech on mikeshinoda.com. Ellen is not just an amazing person and entertainer but the depth of her story is really touching. Talking about one's sexuality, about the difficulty when one coming out, when one trying to keep their integrity. Your integrity is not for sale, as a human or an artist. And to quote the awesome Alan Moore/ V for Vendetta 'It is the very last inch of us, but within that inch we are free.'

People even pointed out that there are many pics of Chester (wet Chester, wot?) in Mike's post about their New Divide filming. You guys notice that? Argh, you slash addicts! I can't wait for the new video (:
