Happy belated birthday to Bennoda.com. Our baby is already a 3-year-old, growing healthily and steadily, thanks to the support of our great fans. No pep talk is needed this year because we all know what we should know - please keep on coming back and help build Bennoda into a great community!

I nearly forgot it's our 2-year-anniversary today. Time flies. Two years ago, I was sitting at the same place (not really) posting our very first post. One year ago, I was writing a long speech ranting about all things in the world. Right now, I'm sick like a dog and celebrating our baby's two-year-old-birthday with an aching stomach. Whatever comes, the fun never stops. So again, here we are, let's toast for the Bennoda love, for our boys Mike and Chester, for this site and for us all.

I have said it and I will say it again: this site is not mine nor Nicole's only. It's yours. Everyone of you, everyone who's reading these lines: it's yours.

I have seen people come and go: some of the greatest friends, some of the greatest collectors, some of the greatest artists, some of the greatest writers. I myself have drifted away too. There are times when I thought of calling it quits, there are times I was getting dog-tired and wanted to blow it all off. But I remember that Bennoda.co.nr is not my baby, but it's our baby, so it's OUR duty to stick with him and raise him up. Thank you for being here with me and Nicole for another year. Bennoda will never die, don't forget that!

Happy Birthday to our site, Bennoda.co.nr is one year old!


I am surprised by how fast time went by and totally overwhelming by the fact that our baby is celebrating its very first birthday. One year ago, Nicole and I were taking our very first step on this journey together. This day last year, I was posting our first proper post. We told each other that we would not expect anything big, and the site is merely for fun. Till today, it still brings us so much joy, yet I'm happy to see everything is getting better and more serious. Our site is still a very small one, but we are embracing a big, loving community that we fondly call our FAMILY. That means so much to me - that is something big to me.

In this special moment Ann's going cheesy, someone throw a tomato at her plz!, I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you all - the Bennoda fans, for sticking with us, through the good and bad times. Thank you for your untiring support, your humorous comments, your concern for Mike and Chester as well as the band, and most of all, for sharing with us your dedication to Bennoda - nothing is more amazing than the fact that we are all here to share with each other such a beautiful thing.

Please keep in your mind that this site is yours - it belongs to every single one of you. It's for you that Bennoda is alive and stronger than ever. Let's toast to our beloved community and our favorite couples and don't forget to vote NO on Prop 8! I hope I didn't talk to much. Enjoy your stay, me hearties!
