STUDIO UPDATE
April 14, 2009Studio update: still making progress on the new album. Still working on that one song, too, ha. Things are going well. I thought I'd put up a few pictures of the guys for you to see. My favorite one is of me and Phoenix--it looks like I'm saying, "that bassline is kinda...eh...not so good." (I'm actually just talking to someone who's not in the frame)
In other news, Chester is mixing his solo album (Dead By Sunrise). I think he said Chris Lord-Alge is mixing.
Lots of music going on in LP land these days...

Read about Amazon deranked homosexual books yesterday on Social Vibe. This is utterly ridiculous. Voice your opinion and sign a competition opposing Amazon's new discriminating 'adult' policy. Thank you.
Things are not looking good for Amazon.com. The powerful anything-and-everything website that began as an online bookstore recently made the decision to strip all books with "adult material" from their rankings. Among them? All books with gay and lesbian content. What does this mean? No matter how popular a book gets, it will never show up in the "best sellers" list. It will also be excluded from all search results.
This includes the best selling memoir-turned-motion picture Running With Scissors and Unfriendly Fire, a book about the impact the gay ban has on the military, yet doesn't include Playboy: The Complete Centerfolds and the graphic adult novel American Psycho. What gives?
When asked about the change, Amazon replied,
"In consideration of our entire customer base, we exclude "adult" material from appearing in some searches and best seller lists. Since these lists are generated using sales ranks, adult materials must also be excluded from that feature.
Hence, if you have further questions, kindly write back to us.
Best regards,
