Chester waited until Mike sat down at the piano to say “Give it up for Mike fucking Shinoda.” Mike chuckled and said that fucking was now his middle name then went on to talk to the crowd for a couple minutes about MTM and that they were about to play Leave Out All The Rest. He also talked about how after Projekt Rev finished they’ll be going to China in October then coming back to the US to go into the studio to start working on their next album. He sounded kinda bummed that they didn’t have any new material to play for us. Once he was done cell phones and cigarette lighters went into the air as they began to play LOATR. Next came Numb and Shadow Of The Day.
From Andrew's report on this moment:
The reason Mike's middle name is "Fucking", is because Chester said "Give it up for Mike fucking Shinoda!" and Mike replied something like "That's funny, I changed my middle name to 'Fucking' right before the show."
Sound quite lovely, innit?

Another LPU Meet and Greet with Mike and Chester was held in Dallas, Texas. Thanks Grant for sharing with us his Meet and Greet experience by his story and pics!
The M&G's are picked randomly. I got the e-mail on Monday. They changed the M&G format to only 2 members and made it a sit down Q&A with the members. We were really hoping for Mike and Chester but it could have been any of them. The fact that it was those two made the night all that much more awesome. My wife managed to convince them to autograph her wrist and then went and got it tattooed the next day. Had to be the best night of our lives.
I can't really recall all that was asked, seeing as how I was in shock the whole time. I know my wife asked about the "little fans" one being our 4 year old who has been singing their songs since he was about 3. Said we were "terrible parents, just kidding", but they thought it was great and as long as we trained him to go out and buy one of their shirts or CDs, they were cool with it. Actually he said they thought it was great they have fans so young.
I know that someone asked about the next CD, which Mike said they were already working on it Chester is still trying to finish his solo project. There were actually 2 groups of people in the M&G at the same time (LPUers and a Verizon group , so questions were being thrown at them left and right. Said they would continue doing Projekt Revolution and asked if we still wanted the outdoor venue with a lot of bands or would we prefer it indoors with about 5 bands. I think the majority said they liked the outdoor venue better. After everyone asked question and got stuff signed, we took two group photos which I posted in the share photos section.
That sounds quite amazing, innit? Here is the group photo he mentioned:

In this special one pic, Grant explained that Mike was doodling on the table (drew Chester a bulldog):D

Thanks Michelle for sharing a small Bennoda moment at her show in Dallas, Texas, 23rd August 2008, with us:
Linkin Park was AMAZING! I seriously am losing my voice right as I type this. Chester was gorgeous as always. He wore a button down shirt at first, got to hot (like he always does) and took it off, only wearing a wifebeater now, he obviously got even hotter about half way into the show and took it off! AHH SHIRTLESS CHESTER! There was a little Bennoda moment before they started playing 'Leave Out All the Rest'! Mike was sitting at the keyboard preparing to play. He gestured for Chaz to walk over to him. So he did, placing a hand on his shoulder. Mike leaned in and whispered in his ear. Sadly, no one knew what they were saying. I laughed instantly and yelled 'I KNOW WHERE THATS GOING!'

Projekt Revolution Tour 2008 is officially over yesterday, 24th August 2008 with the last show in Woodlands, Texas. No Road Left hasn't been performed on any PR stage yet, but there were a lot of memorable moments like Crawling performances with Chris Cornell, Chester joined Chris for Hunger Strike and Ashes Divide for "The Outsider". We cannot forget the Charlotte 'kiss', the East Troy blond wigs and a lot more sweet Bennoda pictures. Projekt Revolution was a funfest.
Linkin Park will come back Asia in this October, and rumor has it that they will add more shows in the next months. There are already some talking about a new Linkin Park album and a Dead By Sunrise/ Chester's solo album in 2009. We hope for more surprises and of course, Bennodaness in the future. (the PR08 Mike/Chester news is still coming, since everyone is still sending in stuff, love to all Bennoda supporters!)
