MAGNITUDE 7.0 EARTHQUAKE STRIKES HAITIHaiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, was hit with a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on Tuesday. The quake was the most powerful to hit the Haiti in 200 years and thousands are feared dead. With 85% of the population already living in poverty, Haiti is ill equipped to cope with a disaster of this magnitude. Music for Relief has launched an emergency appeal for funds to help the survivors of this disaster.
